This comedy tells the story of two children kidnapped during a bank robbery and their subsequent adventures and eventual appearance on television, where the kidnappers are unmasked in front of television viewers. The pack includes a teacher's book, containing an introduction and full musical score, and a parts book which contains all the music parts for photocopying. This music-theatre concentrates on music, but also incorporates acting, miming and making sets and costumes. The eight music-theatre works in the Musical Entertainments series are all of interest to children between the ages of 6-14 years and are between 15-25 minutes long. this particular publication will be of interest to children aged 11-14 years. The introduction in the teacher's book provides a brief guide for those teachers who might not have had much, or indeed any, experience in dealing with this type of activity. It provides tips on how to handle such a production, including notes on the music, singing, orchestra and staging.
