My three year old loved this book and found it really funny as this was similar to when he had an experience like this at the park he loved the bear and thought he was cuddly and wanted a bear just like it !!
As a parent I thought it was very interactive and enjoyble for his age group

Great book , lovely illustrations, the bear was adorable and funny. Rhyming was great my 2 year old grandson  enjoyed this book and I have to read it to him frequently. Happy ending when the bug went to live with the sloth, would recommend buying this book for ages 2,3 and 4.

Lovely quirky illustrations, with plenty of things to look at and spot. The story is about a bug taking up residence on a bear who isn't keen... The book itself is nicely presented and has a quality look and feel. Strong rhyming scheme - I think my little girl will be memorising the words very quickly. She liked the first read through very much: "the bear and the funny fly made me laugh".

This book was fantastically entertaining for my 5 year old who loved it! The story was enjoyable and the characters were relatable and made my little boy laugh. He loved the fact that the main character is a bear which he said are 'special animals'.

Jude my grandson absolutely loved this book, in fact I have to read it to him every time I put him to bed. Size wise the book is quite large which is good as the illustrations can be easily seen. The pictures are very pleasing. The book is all in rhymes, which he enjoyed and I am sure that as he gets older he will be able to give me the ending words. The story is simple but with a lovely happy ending, when the bug goes to live with a Sloth. I would recommend this book Jude is aged 2 but his older brother Harrison aged 5 equally enjoyed the book.

This is one of the most enjoyable books I have read to my daughter, all the rhyming words makes it easy to read aloud. The grumpy bear is a great character and my daughter enjoyed talking about what he was doing like '"he's upside down". It is a lovely story that you will look forward to reading again.

I read this book with Josh my Grandson age 5. The book is quite large with fabulous illustrations so Josh helped to turn the pages.
Josh loved the rhyming words and recognised that they rhymed from school. The humour in the book made us both giggle and there were lots of talking points too. We talked about the different animals about bugs and insects and about the sloth who hangs upside down.
Josh really enjoyed this book and was able to read some of the text himself too. However the lower and upper case letters are mixed throughout the book which is confusing for children just learning phonics. Otherwise I would highly recommend this book.

A little red bug is looking for a new snuggly place to stay and wants to cuddle into bear, but bear is grumpy and does not want anyone bothering him. The beautifully illustrated pages show bear getting more and more frustrated and grumpy with his unwanted visitor until a wise old owl comes to his rescue.

We loved the bright beautiful pages with gorgeous illustrations and fun simple typography. The rhyming text is nice to read, the story simple and it isnt too wordy, making it a lovely book to read to small ones.
