"Pre-Technical Skills" is a course written by educationalists and practising teachers specifically for the Ghanaian syllabus for pre-technical skills at junior secondary level. There are three pupil's books, each of which is accompanied by a comprehensive teacher's book. "Pre-Technical Skills 2" is a comprehensive textbook which fully covers the first year of the syllabus. The stages in the design process, and the materials, tools and processes used for different products introduced in Book 1 are developed further. There is a strong emphasis on problem-solving and many practical projects have been included. The text is supported by numerous clear and informative illustrations.
