A fun book! Nice quality pages and a great story line of Paws McDraw saving the day. My boy loved all the illustrations. Can get a little bit tricky keeping up with the story and the speech bubbles, but we still enjoyed it, and it's becoming a popular night time read

This book is simply fantastic. My little man has really enjoyed reading this book and has been a great favourite for bedtime. This book is all about drawing your way out of trouble!
The illistrations in this book are fantastic and my little man loved looking at them. The book has got different page layouts from many other books which we have read however we enjoyed following the story and overall this was perfect for my little boy to read.
My little boy loved being asked questions about the book and I found that there were plenty to ask throughout the story.
Overall a great read. Massive thumbs up.

We were really looking forward to reading this book when we found out we had won - and were not disappointed!
It's a really interesting concept, being able to draw your way out of trouble! We tried to guess how Paws would solve each problem before he drew them which was great fun.
I found the illustrations lovely, and the differing page layout added interest to the story. A great read. The only problem was - once we had finished we wanted a cupcake!

Cowboy Paws Mcdraw always saves the day by drawing his way out of trouble..... this mini western adventure follows the arrival of the rascal raccoons into town - has Paws Mcdraw met his match? He will have to use every "trick" in the book to drive them out of town......  Bright illustrations, with a cartoon style at parts (with lots of speech bubbles) can make it hard to follow at times. There are some nice nods to the western genre and some fun word play. Its certainly captured my daughter's imagination and she demands to have it read again once its finished.
We won this Toppsta giveaway at the same time as "Doodle Girl and the Monkey Mystery " which has been interesting given both main characters utilise what they draw to save the day... and actually has helped us talk about / compare the stories. If I had to choose between them... Paws quick draw would win the day for me ;o)

A lovely large hardback book great for reading to a group of toddlers. Nice imaginative illsutrations and a great storyline to match. Really getting the little ones imagination flowing. A lovely story about paws mcdraw and his brilliant drawing Western skills keeping the order in the most magical way. Sophie giggled and clapped she loved all the different voices I needed to use. I can't wait to use this with a group of kids. The font could be a little big bigger for when she learns to read or for the older kids. But over all a great book.

A mini wild west adventure with Paws McDraw using his super power to draw and save the day! A cartoon style adventure which can be a little tricky to follow at times as there's a lot happening on every page & quite a few speech bubbles. The illustrations on each page are cleverly done though and on every read we've spotted something else going on in the background that we missed! My kids enjoyed it especially the ending - was a little crazy but just what they deserved!

A fun story about a cowboy called Paws Mcdraw who saves the day by drawing his way out of trouble. The pages are packed full of colourful illustrations that my son enjoyed studying for quite some time. The layout of the story is like a comic and does make it a little difficult to follow but the story itself is fun and quirky and makes for a great bedtime story.

This a well presented and good quality book. The theme is about Paws Mcdraw who can draw his way out of trouble and helps his cupcake loving bunny friends out of trouble too.  Read this to a three year old and it was a bit 'jerky'.  We read the story and speech bubbles alongside were distracting at first...but when we slowed it down it gave us lots of opportunity for discussion about the storyline.  It went well but the ending where the rascally raccoons were turned into cupcakes fell a little flat.  My grandson couldn't understand why the cupcakes ran away...he would have preferred they were gobbled up! We have enjoyed this thank you and it's being re-read.  I think in our case in another year it will get 5 stars and has some longevity across the age group.

I read this to my son who loved the idea of a hero who saves the day by drawing his way out of the bad situations. I loved how it inspired my son to get creative and think fast in situations. It teaches great skills.

This is a hilarious tale of Paws McDraw, the fastest doodler in the west. He's the town hero rescuing bunnies from wells, re-drawing traintrack bridges to prevent disaster and putting out fires with a scribble of a fireman and a bucket of water. However, he meets his match in the cupcake-stealing raccoons and he tries and fails to doodle them into jail. How can he stop them stealing all the cupcakes? You'll have to read to find out.
This is a cute, nicely illustrated story that has some adorable characters. I enjoyed the story and my little one followed along well. I liked that a lot of the story is told through the pictures and there isn't over-lengthy text which sometimes can be difficult to read before a toddler wants to turn the page.
I did feel that it wasn't a particularly unique story, featuring elements from stories that I know already. Having said that, who knew bunnies loved cupcakes so much? My only other criticism of this book is that I have no idea what sort of creature Paws is meant to be - a beaver, a weasel, a hamster?
I would say a fun story and if you like a Western scene this is a good read!

We received this book last year, when my son was nearly 3 and to be honest he's never been very interested in it! I wonder if perhaps he was just a bit too young, as it is an ok book, with plenty happening and a fair amount of humour! It's an amusing tale, with plenty to discuss in the pictures. The low score is basically because it's never appealed to my little one!
