Ben and Bella love the pages of their book. So, when jumping from page to page, they suddenly find themselves in the wrong book altogether, they are most perplexed. For Ben, Bella, and readers, what follows is a rollercoaster journey through a counting book, a comic book, a history book, a puzzle book, an ebook, a craft book, a sticker book, a spot-the-difference book, and finally a scary book - which ultimately propels them back into their own book.
Phew!

This book is lots of fun, it's something different with lots to see and do too. Ben and Bella end up in the wrong book and have quite an adventure trying to find there way out, as they travel through different books and story's. You even have things to like a maze and more. A fun book which was enjoyed.

What I liked about this book was how it encouraged my children to be creative and imagine where the characters would end up on the next page. There were things to do aside from the story, such as spot the difference. The different ways the text was presented was good too; instruction, comic strip and different sized font for emphasis. Whilst all the above is very positive, I have given the book four stars as I was left feeling it lacked a little oomph or great storyline, but my children enjoyed my animated storytelling ways to spice the tale up!

This is a fun book with lovely clear text and bold pictures.  Poor Bella and Ben are bumped off the page in their book by Bella's dog and have to try to find their way back.  The book introduces children to a wide variety of books from comic books to fairytales and historical books.  There is also a nod towards Libraries and Librarians which as a family we think are very important.

My eldest daughter loved the illustrations of this super book.
Bella and Ben are living in a picture book but Bella's dog accidentally pushes them both into a children's counting book. They both try to find their way back home but on route they feature in different books including a history book, a fairy tale and a craft book.
We found this book in our local library and we think Richard Byrne is rather clever. As Bella and Ben adventure continues you are introduced to different genres of writing, fiction and non fiction. My eldest daughter enjoyed this book but as she is 3 it can appear a little confusing so I think it will be fully appreciated for children 5 and up.
It's comical to see Bella and Ben in different books but it's also exciting to see which book they'll be featured in on each double page.
This is a colourful read which could be used in a variety of ways in a classroom setting.

Bella and Ben are playing happily in their own book when their dog accidentally knocks them into a different book. They go on an adventure through lots of other books to try and find their way back to their one.

A really great fun book. My daughters love the spot the difference book and the comic book. And we are going to follow the instructions to make a paper boat!
