Will your children be ready for the new national times table check?
All children in Year 4 will have to sit an on-screen times tables
check; this series will help to prepare children by supporting
their learning and understanding of times tables.
This pack contains: 1 of each Teacher's book; 1 of each workbook;
A USB stick containing the digital resource (not sold separately).
The digital resource, unique to this pack, provides the teacher with
customisable digital tests for focusing on any or all 0- to 12-times
tables. The test results reporting show at-a-glance which
times tables children are doing well with or need more support on.
Both the practice mode and timed test mode replicates the digital
test children will take in Year 4
The Teacher's Guides provide lessons and activities to build confidence
and fluency in times tables. Teaching activities include use
of concrete and pictorial resources; problem-solving activities
to build fluency and understanding; with links to division and
the wider curriculum.
Each workbook provides practice, problem-solving activities, games
and quick-fire quizzes to build fluency of times-tables facts.
Each book uses concrete resources, problem solving and reasoning
to build a mastery of multiplication and division, not just rote
learning.
