Jon Farrell is a 15 year old boy who has had to come to terms with the very recent death of his parents. In fact, they are currently lying dead in his arms. What Jon does not know yet is that they were killed in an alien attack. Left with no family and a drive to do something with himself, Jon decides to take action. As Jon learns more information about the attack on Earth by the technologically advanced alien race, he decides to help co-ordinate the attack against the aliens. The few surviving humans on the planet agree that a follow up attack is imminent and with the kind of technology the aliens have, it will be the last attack required to eradicate all life on the planet. But the aliens made one critical mistake, they gave humanity a single common enemy to stand united against.
This is an epic tale of humanity excelling at what it does best... warfare! After being recruited by two alien races, humanity becomes the muscle in the Rift Wars. Their new friends provide them with life extending drugs, intelligent body armour and weapons they could only dream about. The only thing remaining now is to better understand `The Entity Within' and then humanity will be ready to truly take the fight to the enemy... and what a fight it promises to be. Let the Rift Wars begin!
