The first in a brand new series of first board books, featuring the many well-loved toys in David Ellwand's vintage collection. Here, the intrepid teddies set out for a walk through the bluebell woods, collecting friends one by one as they go. Babies will love the friendly teddy faces and toddlers will enjoy learning to count to 10 as they follow the bears on the see-saw, the swings and playing hide and seek in the woods. There are plenty of visual jokes to amuse children and adults alike with the added challenge of trying to spot the little dog hiding in every picture.

This is a great early number book for little ones that are just starting to count. The lovely teddies inspired us to get our own teddies out and count them. A sweet book if your child is just starting to use number names in their play :)

This is one of the best counting books my daughter has had. She loves pointing at and counting the teddies on every page. She makes up little stories of what they are doing and and what they may be saying to each other. Nothing like a cute teddy bear to bring out the imagination.
Finding the little dog hidden in the Bluebells made this book even more exciting for her as she kept shouting "where's the woof woof?"
This helps children count from 1 to 10 with a lovely colourful teddy bears picnic at the end.

I got this book when Sophie was 9 months old, I love this counting book. Nice and sturdy hardback for my baby to hold as we read it together. Beautiful photography of classic teddy bears. I loved find the dog on each page and pointing it to my baby. Lovely rhymes makes learning to count fun. A very beautiful baby book.

At 17 months old my toddler still loves this book, it's lovely simple but effective way of learning numbers whilst having fun.

Sophie is now 2 1/2 years old, I have now put this book away. Its been brilliant for learning to count to 10. It will stay as one of my favourite counting books.

I love this book. It's so cute and great to help with numbers and counting.
When I won this my daughter loved it, especially finding the bears and the hidden little guy on each page.
She is three now and it isn't as fulfilling so would definitely say it's good for up to two years. But I still love it!

This is a counting book for young children, which features photographs of toy teddy bears in a bluebell wood.  Each double page spread features a number (both written and figure), the corresponding number of teddy bears and a rhyming sentence. There is plenty here to help teach a child how to count in a fun manner. And with thick pages, it is perfectly built for lots of handling by toddlers and pre-schoolers.
