'Colour Us Back From Extinction' is a stunning endangered animal colouring book.

An easy-read book which gives you the opportunity to learn interesting and fun facts about ten endangered species, whilst creating something uniquely contemporary as you colour in those animals to give them significance. This book provides a compact way to absorb key information about some key endangered animals, like the snow leopard, mandarin duck, red squirrel and giant panda.

The reader is able to therapeutically colour in the images of these species using the artwork composed by London artist, Elle Smith. This means that each book becomes a truly unique keepsake, in which the reader's imagination creates a unique perception and background setting for those animals, whilst relaxing at the same time. A great gift for travelling, birthdays, holidays or to simply keep children and adults occupied.

A lovely educational book. The text is easy to read and set out clearly. The emphasis is probably more on the text than the colouring in. One page describes the animal in question, the second page there is a black and white illustration of the the animal to colour in and then the next page and a bit give 'fun facts' about it. My son was particularly interested in the section on red squirrels, as we were fortunate to see one last week. There are only black and white illustrations to colour in in the book, the panda one in particular is basic to saw the least. It would have been useful to have a small colour photo to know how you should colour the animal in. Overall, a great book for children to learn about threatened animals.
