We bought Pip Jones's picture book after falling in love with the Squishy McFluff series. Not rhyming this time, this is a very quirky and VERY silly story about a little girl who wants to make her daddy a sandwich he'll love, using unusual ingredients. Children adore the ridiculous don't they? They'll love this then.

With lovely bright illustrations this is a story about making daddy's sandwich with all his favourites things in it. Fun story that my older daughter added her own bits to sandwich and my baby daughter loved holding the book which was a perfect size and looking at all the items which attracted her.  Very interactive book for my two girls.

This is quite a sweet book, it follows the little girl as she tries to make a sandwich for her Daddy with absolutely everything he loves inside! That includes butter, stinky cheese, ketchup, a banjo, the tv remote, his slippers...the list goes on!! It's quite funny for little ones, and sweet as they nod along to the things that Daddy loves.  At the end of the book, the little girl climbs inside the sandwich too, because Daddy loves her more than anything!

Nice illustrations too.

A great book for Father's Day for kids aged between 2 and 6.

This is a really sweet and funny book about a little girl's love for her Daddy. He loves sandwiches so she wants to make him a sandwich full of the things he loves. It starts off reasonably well with crusty white bread, butter, smelly cheese, but some of the the other things she adds may not be edible or indeed fit inside Daddy's mouth? We really liked the illustrations and the playful touches such as the leaking bubblebath down the stairs and Daddy liking his daughter's jelly beans. Good fun book!
