The aim of "Accessing History" is to provide teachers with a ready-made resource - no more hours spent finding images - all the images needed for a complete theme are together in the photo book, big book or cards. Themes have been taken from the QCA History scheme of work for each year group and the resources can be used flexibly with the 'dual year' approach to history that many schools adopt. Activities have been specifically written to provide a creative cross-curricular approach to history.
