This title follows Taylor and his pals on the all-new adventures in the Pokemon Gold/Silver Game Boy games. The novelization follows Ash's adventures in Kanto, the land he travels in during the second portion of the Gold/Silver Game Boy games. It's a companion to "Pokemon Gold/Silver: Pathways to Adventure", and features many new characters, including Hoothoot, Lugia, Chikorita and Totodile. The novelization can be enjoyed purely as a story set in the Pokemon world, but it also includes hints, clues and strategies for succeeding in the second portion of the games. It is part of a series of official game guides published with Nintendo and provides a walkthrough of the game plus training strategies.
