This is one of a series of videos which aim to bring history to life through entertaining and imaginative approaches to historical enquiry. Using the format of a children's television programme, they encourage pupils to discuss important ideas such as evidence and interpretation. Each video covers both the characteristics of a particular period and clues about how events of the past have been interpreted, and is accompanied by teacher's notes.
