If you want your book to make you chuckle, Eddie Stone and the Mean Genie's Curse is the book for you. It's fast paced and a really fun book to read. Of course, as you'd expect with a genie story, each wish goes disastrously wrong and there are always unexpected consequences. We can't wait to try some of the other books in the series.

What a rip roaring ride of a book!  Eddy buys an interesting looking sculpture at a local house clearance auction - not realising he's about to open a floodgate of madness in his town.
When people's random wishes start coming true (including his father turning into a sofa) he realises he needs to sort things out.
With the help of a science brained new best friend, a doll that's been brought to life and a camel who can't resist the sound of castanets Eddy sets about saving the day.
This is funny read full of fabulous quirkiness.  The illustrations are generously dotted throughout and it's full of perfect short chapters for readers who want to tackle small chunks at a time.
Great fun!

At the start, I wasn't so keen to read this book, but the more I read the more I enjoyed it! It involves a wizard without a body trapped inside a lamp and a genie who grants all his master's wishes.

My favourite character is Hen because she is really interested in science and can always come up with a logical solution for most problems.

I hope you enjoy reading this book as much as I did!

This book arrived on my son's birthday. He got at least 40 other books for his birthday so the fact that he chose to start with this one speaks volumes about its appeal. He's been giggling away to the genie's antics and the wishes with disastrous consequences. A great, humorous book.

This book had me hooked from the start I read this book in no time. Definitely not what you want from a genie when you release one. This book is so funny from start to finish.
