La escritura paso a paso is a six-chapter, one-semester program that targets colleges and universities offering courses specialized in Spanish writing and composition at Intermediate to Advanced levels. The aim of La escritura paso a paso is to help learners move from Intermediate to Advanced levels of proficiency as defined in the writing guidelines developed by ACTFL. More specifically, La escritura has been designed to help students advance progressively from Intermediate Low or Mid levels towards Advanced Low or Mid levels of performance. La escritura paso a paso facilitates the teaching of writing because it provides the instructor and the students with clear objectives, tools to achieve them and rubrics to evaluate progress.
