I have a 2 year old son, who loved this book. With an entertaining storyline, and lift-the flaps, he enjoyed every part of it. This book also contained other cute features, such as brushing Ned's teeth, reading his favourite book, and watching the stars go by. A beautiful book. I would recommend it for any toddler.

We loved this book. The flaps and moving parts made it even more special and interesting to read. My little boy loved the brightly-coloured pictures, and although he's a little young still (14 months) to understand the storyline at the moment, I think that this will become a firm favourite for showing him the bedtime routine and why we have it. My 5-year-old also enjoyed reading this when he came home from school, and was able to do the flaps and moving parts himself. They seem fairly sturdy which is good, as hopefully they won't wear out like some lift the flap books can. I would definitely recommend this book to others.

This is such a lovely book about the routine at bedtime. It mimics our own and we get a lot of "I'm not tired!" accompanied by yawns add stretches so it definitely resonates.

My five year old son loved the 'lift the flap' additions, even saying "I think this is a sensory book! I really love it. I have hearts in my eyes because I love it so much." He even requested that it stay on his nightstand so he could read it straight away the next morning.

The beautiful, bright illustrations are lovely for young children of all ages.

This is a very nice, great quality book. Perfect for bedtimes. Lots of flaps to lift and holes to peep through but relaxing at the same time. As you help  you help Ned get ready for bed, by brushing his teeth and more. It also has little tips at the bottom of each page for parents. Which is great. My little boy enjoyed this interactive bedtime book.

This is a nice little book about the bedtime routine with helpful hints for parents as well as the main story. My little one likes lifting the flaps and she likes watching Ned brush his teeth too. It’s a perfect book to read at bedtime as you see Ned getting ready for bed just as your child has done as well.

This is a really charming book - full of flaps and twiddly bits to engage small fingers.  It covers the perfect bedtime routine and has a bundle of tips for parents to help settle their reluctant sleepers.  The illustrations are bold, colourful and bright and the sturdy board pages mean it will last a long long time!

This is such an adorable book! The illustrations are lovely and it has plenty of flaps to open and mechanisms to activate to keep children entertained. It is a very hands-on book and it is made even more precious by all the tips for parents on how to create successful bedtime routines.

This is a great book! Friendly illustrations show a little boy off to bed, going through all the routines recommended, bath, teeth, story, songs etc with flaps and wheels to keep little ones fingers busy. There are lots of tips for parents along the bottom of each page too. I thought it was very well thought out and had some brilliant interactive parts, we particularly liked the twinkling stars at the end.

This book is great for toddlers and parents alike with tips to get them settled at bed time. Encouraging a bed time routine is important so we have been reading lots of bedtime books.

This allows interaction with the toddler when reading together as there are lift the flap pages which my daughter loves reading. It covers how we don't feel sleepy and wants to play with toys, so one idea is to help the toys go to bed first, a bath is fun and relaxing and we see that ned is still not sleepy. Brushing teeth is next on the routine, then pyjamas and reading a favourite book.
Each page carries tips to help encourage the routine and why they should be incorporated.

I like how the tips are written below away from the main part of the story.

A lovely bed time read and great for those wanting to being a routine.

I read this to my two year old son who can be hard to settle at night. It's a really lovely idea, with the simple story going through the steps of a bedtime routine. The illustrations are colourful and very toddler-friendly, and my son loves all the flaps and moving parts. I have found though that it doesn't really work for us as a 'bedtime story' - the moving parts are a bit too stimulating and it ends quite abruptly, there doesn't seem to be a sense of the boy in the story 'winding down'. That said it's a great book for reinforcing bedtime routine and my son likes looking at it at various points in the day.

This is a beautiful book. My boys loved the interactive flaps and wheels and could relate to the story. As a helpful book with getting toddlers to sleep though we already did all the stages it recommended so not too helpful in that sense.

My little boy loved this book! He has always enjoyed books with flaps and interactive sections. It's a lovely little book. I didn't pay much attention to the sections of advice given on each page to parents to help their children go to sleep because my little boy has a good bedtime routine already but I think it may help some parents I suppose.

My daughter seems to like this well enough but it's not very engaging for her at the moment, maybe when she's a bit older (she's 16 months right now) she likes the flaps and the turning book but sometimes misses the flaps and is a bit busy for her to keep up with all of it.

I think this will be a bit better when she understands the message behind the bedtime story and will probably be quite helpful. The tips for the adults at the bottom didn't give anything new really though, so I personally didn't find it useful.

Lovely pictures though and a nice storyline, I really liked the twinkling stars.
