Rescuing Han Solo from the clutches of the bounty hunter Jaba the Hutt, Luke and his companions race to join the massing rebel forces preparing to attack the Empire's new and deadly Death Star. Solo and Leia lead a strike team to the forest moon of Endor and win the aid of the tribal Ewoks in their attempts to shut off the force-field that protects the Empire's vast space station.
