George Orwell (1903-1950) is one of the world's most influential writers, the visionary author of Animal Farm and Nineteen Eighty-four as well as non-fiction classics. By the time of his death in 1950 (and since), he was world-renowned as a journalist and author.
More about George OrwellPhilip Page is an experienced author and illustrator of History books as well as having written for Livewire Myths and Legends. He is now retired but was previously a Deputy Head Teacher at Hamstead Hall School, where he taught English and History.
