A shaggy species is the yak with hairy front and hairy back. It isn't very hard to spot him with hairy top and hairy bottom. Kim Cunningham's woodcuts in "Absolutely Wild" are simply stunning but combined with her father's clever and witty poetry make this book a superb production. This title not only introduces animals, birds and insects to the young reader but also provides a treasure trove of beautiful illustrations for the older reader.
