A Texas Sampler is a tribute to the remarkable people who settled Texas. Excerpts from diaries, letters, and memoirs written by real Texans reveal the history of this great state. The workbook and text together create a package that dovetails with the Texas state-mandated curriculum requirements in Texas history at the fourth- and seventh-grade levels.
