The teacher's notes provide ideas and activities on guided reading and writing, independent work, as well as text, sentence and word level work. There is a photocopiable worksheet for each of the children's books. The sight vocabulary strand of Beginning to Read contains 20 fiction books, 20 non-fiction books and a set of 3 workbooks.
