When Tom meets Tallulah, he's just a shy little kitten but Tallulah knows just how to make him feel at home. Tallulah, you see, is very good at 'CAT'. She can tell exactly what Tom wants from a simple 'purr' or 'miaow'. They are the perfect team, best friends until . . . Tom begins to learn 'HUMAN'. Suddenly, Tom is not quite as cute as he first seemed. SOMEONE has not been nice . . .

Find out just how much mischief one rascally cat can get up to in this rebelliously funny picture book.

This is a heartwarming story of a little girl and her cat and how roles can be reversed. It also teaches us that if we are patient and give people time we can get to understand them and their ways well, and become very good friends.
I was a little bit confused by the ending as it switched suddenly, but got the general gist....and it lends itself well to a follow-on book.

Tallulah gets a new pet kitten and trains her so that she is well behaved and house trained. They get on well and she can read all the little signs to know what he pet Tim wants. Tom then starts acting like a human, and then starts training Tallulah how to be a cat! Then Tom decides he doesn't want a pet Cat (who is actually a girl). It's a bit of an odd book. My girl loved that Tallulah was pretending to be a cat and loved all the cat mannerisms. But the end was a bit weird.
