This was a brilliant book. Louis is a young comedian. He even has an agent (his gf although she's moved all the way over to America). He's made a name for himself appearing on a YouTube vlog but Louis' life is turned upside by his parents when he does a very silly thing at school. His parents become obsessed about him doing homework and learning to play the recorder.

A hilarious book. The illustrations by Nikalas Catlow are brilliant and make this story even better. We especially liked the ending as it was so satisfactory.

This is a very funny book. Louis is in trouble for falling asleep in class and  he is very worried about the consequences. Luckily for him he loses a tooth in the middle of parents evening and this distracts things long enough for his nap not to be mentioned. The story is written from Louis's perspective. Each chapter has a black and white illustration at the start and is written with times and dates separating the different sections giving you a timeline to follow. Louis is always trying to fool his parents but in a funny way and really wants them to be 'Yes Parents' just like his new friend Jack's mum. We liked this book and loved all the different characters. There is even a quiz at the end of the book to test your knowledge of the story. We would definitely like to read other books in the series.

Pickle gives this book a thumbs up, he found it very funny and has been enjoying reading it at bedtime although he's found it a bit hard to read to himself, he enjoyed it when we read it together.
Louis the main character is fun rather than naughty and keeps trying to
trick his parents with hilarious results.
