Timbi's Dream follows the story of Timbi, a young boy who starts having very realistic dreams about flying after his mother applies some sun cream to soothe his sunburnt ears. As Timbi soars across the sky, he comes across two girls and their brother, Eleanor, Celia and Dave. They become friends and Timbi spends the night playing games and exploring with them. But when he tries to tell his family about his adventures, no one will believe him. What can Timbi do to convince his brothers? The story is narrated in rhyming couplets, making it easy for young readers to follow and read along. Max hopes to encourage cognitive ability with his use of rhyme, and his use of fantasy elements that will encourage young readers' imaginations. Originally inspired by the Max's young nephews, Timbi's Dream will be enjoyed by readers aged 4-6 years old. It contrasts fantasy realms with the everyday life of a young boy. The exciting story is accompanied by quirky illustrations that have been enjoyed by readers of Max's ebook version of the story. The new revised edition contains much improved rhyming and other changes.
