The story is told through the eyes of a puppy called Fearless Fred who is a Border Terrier. He has already saved the Queen's jewels and made the Big Bad Fox run away. He has to go to the Seaside with his cousins as his family are painting the house. When he gets there the dog next door, Happy Holly shows him how to swim and together they have a Big Adventure in a local Fort. They are taken there by Percy Pug and at first it is a bit scary then they rescue a little girl who is lost and everyone cheers them.
