Ceri Wyn Jones was born in Welwyn Garden City Hertfordshire before moving to west Wales and was educated in Cilgerran, Cardigan and Aberystwyth. He won the Chair at the National Eisteddfod in 1997 and 2014 and the Crown in 2009.
