This book was extremely gripping and I found myself absorbed right from the very beginning. Could physically not put it down. Full of drama, danger and massive OMG moments. You will fall in love with this book but its the kind of book that you need to pay attention in to understand everything.
Overall a super book and I totally recommend!!!

Lie, Kill, Walk Away is fast paced and hooks you in from the very first page.  Matt Dickinson has a great writing style and I loved the way that the story was told from two points of view, Becca's and Joe's. Becca's dad is a scientist, a government whistle blower, who uncovered a plot surrounding a bioweapon.  He is found in a wood after what looked to be  a suicide attempt following the death of one of his colleagues.  However, all was not as it seemed and Becca sets out to uncover the truth.  Joe is a graffiti artist with a soft spot for Becca.  He would go to almost any length to help her.  I would recommend this book to fans of Robert Muchamore.  It is suitable for age 11+. On the whole very little violence and not graphically described.  Loved the fact that there was no bad language!

Based on the cover and title I was concerned this would be a little grown up for my 10 year old daughter. I think she would have struggled reading it on her own as you really need to concentrate in order to follow the story. We both really enjoyed it, it's action packed, exciting and gripping. We would recommend this book to kids 11+ and adults.

A super book for 11yr olds upwards. The title isn't as intimidating as it may sounds the book relies heavily on originality, invention and the reader committing themselves to the storyline.
highly recommended and the author writes in a truly authentic and original style.
A must read and one you won't be able to put down!

Tom is 9 and an avid reader so although this book is aimed for 11/12 I thought I would give it ago with him. He was immediately put off by the cover.

He gave it a try but its fast paced and you have to really concentrate to understand it. we gave it a try but I have put it away for next year to try again.
