Following the breakout of war between his country and Queen Victoria's army, Alamayu finds himself without parents, throne or friends. In a misguided attempt to care for him, the British take Alamayu to England. On arrival he is enrolled at Rugby College to become a 'proper' English gentleman and he is befriended by Queen Victoria herself.
