This two-book resource series provides fun measurement challenges for the first years of school. Book A covers Length, Time and Perimeter while Book B covers Volume, Mass and Area. Most pages contain two challenges that can be cut up, photocopied onto card and used over and over again in either a learning centre set-up or for individuals and groups to work on. The challenges, all require children to use the context of their immediate surroundings. Templates and additional materials are all provided. The author's work has been recognised with awards such as the Teaching in Primary Schools Award and the Envision Science and Technology Award, where he was highly recommended.
