Growing up at the edge of the forest, sisters Hansel and Gretel are no strangers to danger. They've been practicing ninja stealth and karate chops at the local dojo - a move that proves shrewd when their parents are kidnapped by a wily fox. The plucky pair set off on a rescue operation, but the forest is very dark, and their breadcrumb trail doesn't last very long. Then they stumble across a mouth-watering sight: a cottage of cornbread! Danger ensues when they l realise the house is the fox's but her nefarious manoeuvres are no match for the chicks' ninja kicks.
