"Et Toi" is the ideal revision aid for the Common Entrance speaking component of the French examination. Recorded by native French speakers, it is designed for pupils to use on their own CD player and covers all the Common Entrance topics. The format is simple. Alice asks Georges questions about himself, his home, his hobbies, school, daily routine and holidays to which he responds. Alice then repeats her questions for the pupil to offer his or her own response. The conversation between Alice and Georges is followed by some monologues to give pupils an idea of what is required in the oral examination. This CD can also be used in the classroom for both listening and oral practice. The accompanying booklet, which contains a full transcript of the recorded material, also provides useful reading practice.
