"Ab Initio III" provides continuity and progression from Level 2 of the Common Entrance syllabus to the Level 3, Common Academic Scholarship and the more traditional public school scholarship syllabuses. The approach and format are the same as those of "Ab Initio I and II". The vehicle for imparting the prescribed grammar and vocabulary is a series of easily manageable narrative passages, starting with the fall of Troy and following the wanderings of Odysseus to his arrival back in Ithaca. The approach is thorough and traditional: all the skills required at Common Entrance and Common Academic Scholarship level are well rehearsed and ensure that pupils are well prepared for the examinations, enabling them to pursue the subject at secondary level. As with previous volumes there is plenty of practice material for the slower learner as well as more challenging exercises for the more able. A reference grammar and two-way vocabulary are included.
This is Book 3 in the AB Initio Series. See all AB Initio books here.
