"Hands on Maths" is a series for the mathematics learning programme in the intermediate phase. Concepts, skill and processes are developed and practised through examples, exercise and open-ended investigations taken from everyday life. Learners are encouraged to discover the usefulness and relevance of numeracy skills in their own lives. The investigations are all linked to other learning areas, to develop mathematical skills across different contexts.
