Motjohtjhonono is a Sesotho foundations phase literacy course that consists of a learner's book, a teacher's guide, a reader and a workbook. The course meets all the requirements of the Revised National Curriculum Statement. It uses principles of the OBE methodology and covers issues such as: social justice, a healthy environment, human rights and exclusivity. The learner's book provides clearly illustrated icons to cover all learning outcomes and their respective assessment standards as required by the learning area statement. The detailed teacher's guide will help the teacher with various forms of assessment and classroom preparations the fun readers has a wide range of interesting stories that will appeal to the personal and emotional development of learners. The workbook will help learners demonstrate their achievement of the learning outcomes.
