The On Track with Maths Intermediate Phase series aims to solve the challenge of continuous outcomes-based assessment. In this challenging series: -assessment activities are flagged as Checkpoints in the Learner's book -the Teacher's Guide specifies the Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences Specific Outcomes and Assessment Criteria (MLMMS SO-ACs) being assessed, and the assessment rubric for each Checkpoint a photocopiable Checkpoint Assessment Portfolio is provided in the Teacher's Guide, where the Checkpoint assessments can be recorded. This will ultimately give an overall picture of a learner's competence in the MLMMS SO-ACs.
