This Intermediate Phase, outcomes-based course, for Sepedi first language learners, focuses on individual, pair and group work. It encourages reading, thinking and communication strategies throughout. Lessons, that cover a variety of skills, are a product of great in-depth research. Writing, stories and other activiteis empower learners to be proficient and skilled users of their language. The reading texts are enhanced and supported by attractive and colourful illustrations. This programme is aimed at meeting the needs of the new curriculum. Additional revision exercises and reading texts will help the teacher with remedial and continuous assessment activities.
