David Booth is Professor Emeritus at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto, where he has trained teachers to use innovative ways to promote literacy among children for more than 30 years. At present, he is also the Elizabeth Thorn Chair of Literacy at Nippising University.
