This standard format verbal reasoning book contains 850 questions in 10 tests plus detachable answer sheets. Each test can be completed in less than one hour. It is a compilation of all the work in Learning Together's previously published Verbal Reasoning Books 1 & 2. The book is an excellent aid in preparing children for their 11+ or 12+ examinations and can also be used in preparing children for grammar school, independent and private school selection tests. Finished test should be marked with an adult who may also be able to explain any questions not understood. Working through these tests will provide children with experience of formal testing while at the same time helping them to become more familiar with various types of verbal reasoning question. The authors are experienced teachers and tutors who have developed and used these tests extensively in the classroom over a number of years.
