This series consists of six atlas activity books which ensure that mapwork is easy and fun as well as incorporating a skills-based approach for outcomes-based education. They are designed for the Intermediate and Senior phases. The books provide simple and up-to-date text with easy-to-read, specially designed maps and colourful photographs and illustrations. Each atlas covers all the aspects of basic mapreading and assists in the development of new skills through the activities on every page. A variety of maps are introduced, which explore their different features, such as: climate, population and human activities.
