Christianity Through Art explores key concepts within Christianity, including: Harvest; Advent and Christmas; Easter; Pentecost; Church; Prayer; Worship; Eucharist; Preaching; the Bible; Spirituality; Faith; Hope, Love, Sin and forgiveness; Faith in action; Caring for the world; the Global family; Baptism; Marriage; and, Death. It offers 24 large colour prints of a variety of works of art in different media (painting, sculpture, engraved glass, woven cloth, etc.), which have been chosen to reflect the global nature of Christianity. The resource can be used in RE to explore both learning about and learning from Christianity, and as part of spiritual, moral and cultural development. "Christianity Through Art" is designed to use with children aged 7-14 (Years 3-9).
