Kushaywa edonsayo explores the intoxication of urban life and the perceived stagnation of rural existence. After his mother's death, Bhekani experiences a journey of inner turmoil and self-discovery. He abandons his responsibility for the family and the farm in desolate rural Jonono, and continues to dwell in the alluring city. But misfortune besets him and he is forced to reassess his situation. He decides to honour his roots and to channel his energy and positive input into his farm and community. Thus he comes to transform Jonono into a vibrant are of development area of development and promise.
