Rebel Susannah hates the 'whitey' school her parents have sent her to. Her old friends will think she's a snob, she absolutely won't fit in and, in any case, and there was nothing wrong with the old school! But, through new interest and a growing friendship with sports hero Calvin, things start to improve. Susannah begins to find answers to the nagging questions of who she is an what she is doing in the school. In the midst of upheaval and personal change she is eventually able to answer Calvin's teasing question: Knock Knock. Who's there?
