Cheebtabuut a lovely girl left with her friends to the wood to fetch firewood for mother. The girls were warned to leave the forest before it got dark lest the devouring monsters found them. But as they were ready with firewood, Cheebtabuut saw ripened yummy blue berries over the stream and they quickly went to pick. But night was drawing so the other girls said 'let's go now'. Cheebtabuut remained adamant and she was left behind. Devouring monsters caught her and took home to be eaten.On the day she was to be eaten Cheebtabuut escapes narrowly with the help of the crow
