This guide provides approaches to drug education which draws on children's experiences and, provides a series of structured classroom activities and projects which use a variety of teaching techniques. An overall framework is provided which includes a whole school drug education policy that links drugs education to health education and citizenship. This ensures a clear message is given on the community's concern about the misuse of drugs.
