This story-based course has been thoroughly tested in a variety of South African schools for its suitability in multi-lingual classrooms, and is integrated across all learning areas. In this course: -real-life situations engage learners in active storytelling and will help develop their speaking, listening, viewing, reading and writing skills across the curriculum -learners will learn language structures and conventions appropriate to these situations and contexts the focus is on viewing, listening, speaking, reading and writing skills and the development of concepts and skills through the stories in each unit -the Activity books offer extension activities that are designed to encourage fine motor skills.
