We loved this book. It is very cute and very funny. Baby Dragon hatches out of her egg and decides she is hungry. She looks around for food and bumps into all the other animals on the island. They ask her if she wants to play but she replies every time with 'I'm Hungry!' She eats a lot of 'food' until there is none left and no-one to play with. When mummy dragon flies back she has to teach baby dragon what to eat and how to make friends. This is a lovely story with great illustrations. Great for little ones and a definite hit with us.

We loved 'I'm Hungry'. It's full of bright colourful illustrations and is really funny to read. The text is really simple and repeats in each page, so it's brilliant for early readers. We all gasped when we realised that baby dragon was going to EAT all of the creatures on the island!! Thank goodness (for the more squeamish readers) it has a happy ending for 'most' of the animals!

My daughter loved this book and even retold the story to her grandparents. The pictures are lovely and colourful and the story is great. My daughter is starting to read and helped read some of the simple words. It's great because words are repeated throughput the book. Repetition is key. Would recommend this book to friend.

This arrived yesterday and I have had to read it many times since then!
Georgie loves the different animals and loves repeating the lines that she remembers.
I like that there are not too many words and that leaves lots of opportunities for imagination to kick in and Georgie comes up with what she thinks may happen next.
The illustrations are bright and fun to look at.

As a mother to a son that is always hungry I was delighted when I won this book as I thought how fitting is this. Noah is a bit of a deep thinker so at first he wasn't too sure what to make of this baby dragon eating everybody but he soon came around. It's a story all about making friends and has some really funny moments in there too.

This is a really funny book that completely suited my three year old's personality to the ground.  It was a great book to read with her before bed and we had plenty of laughs reading it and Little Miss A just loved the illustrations which perfectly accompanied the story.  It is a really fun book that we would definitely recommend and I can see us continuing to enjoy it together for some time to come.

Book was bright, well illustrated and stood out boldly. My four year old was thrilled to receive this book. She is starting to like to hold the book and try read it herself and then back to toys or family. She repeated words and started to recognise the repeats in the story. She loved the characters especially the baby dragon who brought up conversations about food and friendships for her. This book was Perfect for her reading age and she enjoys reading it and looking at the pictures by herself as well as a night story.

This book is lovely! My 4 year old daughter really enjoyed to listen about a baby dinosaur who was notoriously hungry. She ate all animals that were smaller that her and suddenly she felt lonely. Fortunately there was a mum who straighten up everything! My daughter isn't a reader yet, but it's quite clearly a good choice for beginners - subject, story, characters and language all combine into an engaging book that won't seem like a chore to read, but a fun story.
The illustrations are gorgeous - very bright, full of colours, funny and getting children's attention.
I would definitely recommend this book - I give only 4 starts because my daughter was a bit scared of  dragon's behaviour(at the beginning of the story:))

My two year old son won this book in a Toppsta giveaway. The pictures really made him laugh, and after reading it once, he asked to read it again and joined in, shouting "I'm HUNGRY" at every page.
My four year old daughter then asked if she could have it for her bedtime story, and she really enjoyed it too. I would recommend this as a fun book to read with 2-4 yr olds. As well as being good for a giggle, the message about friendship at the end is lovely too

This book was ok, I read it to my 2 and 4 year olds tonight. They had been so excited waiting to hear it, but neither were particularly thrilled with it. 'im hungry ' is about a baby dragon who is always hungry, and when other animals try to make friends and play with him, he eats them! Fortunately, it's mummy dragon to the rescue...! The story is short enough to keep even little ones entertained, and the pictures are bright and well done. It's not our favourite book ever, but I'm sure we'll be reading it plenty - my 2year old loves dragons!
