Barron Greedyguts wants to steal a sweet machine from the king but can Sir Scallywag and crew put a plan into action to save the day? A hilarious, cleverly-written story with detailed illustrations. The theme of poo always pleases young children, a big hit in our house!

My daughter enjoyed reading this for her bedtime story. It's wonderfully written and illustrated. The illustrations are so detailed that the children enjoyed going back over the book to look at them. The story is a funny one, there is a sweety machine and dragon poo! So the children laughed a lot throughout!

I didn't like the cover at first but borrowed it the library as my boy asked for it (we then did buy it at a later date). The book was a pleasant surprise. I love the rhyming of the words, and the content is funny. Not my favourite type of illustrations but grew to like it as I read it more. It's about a Baron wanting to steal a sweet machine from the King but Sir Scallywag comes up with a good idea and saves the day! My kids love this book.

If your a fan of Winnie the witch then the illustrations will appeal, the story was pretty long but the kids enjoyed it, especially all the poo flinging! A little moral about eating too many sweet too!

Sir Scallywag and the Deadly Dragon Poo was one of those books the children desperately want read but I didn't think looked great! Once I started reading it to them I was pleasantly surprised and quite enjoyed reading it. The children thought it was a hilarious book with all the talk of dragon Poo and sweets and I liked how it all rhymed and was so easy to read and really kept there attention. The pictures are fantastic with lots of detail and there were lots of things for the children to look at and discuss with each other when reading the book on their own. This turned out to be a very good book and one I am sure the children will want to reread again in the future!

This is another favourite story for bedtime. This is a funny story of King Colin who spent all the fortune on a giant sweet machine, he and his Queen loved sweets so much. Word of the machine reached King Greedyguts who hatches a plan to steal the machine, he has pets dragons who he feeds rotten cabbages, which gives the foulest dragon poo. His plan is to launch all the awful dragon poo at King Colin's castle, but Sir Scallywag comes to King Colin's aid. Everyone in King Colin's Kingdom collects all the dragon poo, Sir Scallywag puts it all in the giant sweet machine and they wait for King Greedyguts to attack. Nighttime comes and King Greedyguts attacks, he demands the giant sweet machine, Sir Scallwag says it's here but you see but I have changed into a giant poo machine, the machine lets out a giant jet of dragon poo, and drove King Greedyguts away. It's a story that all my children have found funny, and I'm pretty sure most children will.
