Nicki's Mum is sick. She has cancer and Nicki isn't really sure what this means. But she does know that her Mum has lost all her beautiful hair and Nicki is scared that her school friends will laugh at her. When Mum comes to school Nicki finds out that everyone has their own way of dealing with things that scare them. A beautiful story about acceptance and how courage can triumph.
