Miriam was glad to be warm and cosy inside her cowshed. There were so many people in the town but it was nice and peaceful in her shed. Little was she to know that she would be joined by Midnight Visitors, and not just any old visitors... Snuggle up and enjoy the warm soft feel the art and narrative bring to this delightful Christmas picture book with a difference.

A good book that tells the Christmas story from the perspective of the animals in the stable, a heartwarming book with lovely pictures. The story is not complicated and is simplified so it's easier for young children to understand. My little one loved the pictures of the animals and wondering who would be next at the door.

I thought this was a lovely christmas book. I normally do the children a christmas eve box with new pjs, a christmas film, some little treats and a christmas book. This will be our christmas book this year. My 2 year old and 6year old enjoyed it. Miriam the cow and the other animals were settling down in the barn ready for bed, when they had some special visitors, and a baby is born in the barn. The illustrations were lovely, colourful and detailed, my youngest liked looking at the pictures and telling me what was going on. I loved that the story of Mary and Joseph was told from the cow Miriam's perspective, this is very original and a great idea. Its obviously a religious christmas story, but its not like the classic bible story, this was much more child friendly, interesting and entertaining, as some bible stories can be quite boring for young children. A cute and touching story, would definitely recommend. Doesn't just need to be read at christmas, but definitely one of my favourite children christmas books ive come across in a while

I loved the story of Miriam the cow and all of the visitors she gets to her barn, I loved the different characters because I love animals. The pictures are bright and lovely. I liked the happy ending, it made me smile and feel glad that Miriam let the guests into her barn.

I absolutely loved this gorgeous book, the illustrations are beautiful and very sweet and the overall message of the book was surprising and much welcomed. I loved that the book featured lots of different animals as Gracie loves them and it definitely kept her interest. I am also a fan of all the different sounds used throughout the book, this made it very engaging for my child. I enjoyed hearing the story of the nativity told through the perspective of the main character, Miriam the cow. This was a unique and interesting concept and definitely different from other Christmas books.  For me, it was a fantastic approach to telling the story of the birth of Jesus in a new way, one that my little one could grasp at this age. Overall, I was very impressed with this book, it was charming and aesthetically pleasing, and we will definitely be reading this in the run up to the festive period!
