When Jolly Olly Octopus gets the giggles, it isn't long before the waves of bubbly laughter have spread to all his friends and the whole sea bed is awash with sea creatures chuckling away. But, oh no! Here comes Shark! Suddenly things aren't quite so funny any more. There's lots of going on under the sea.....until the shark turns up!!.....Whats going to happen?
Lovely fun book with great illustrations - pages are bright, colourful and very engaging - there's lots to talk about on every page - repetitive rhyme let's the kids join in with the pages. Very enjoyable book would definitely recommend :)

Quite a long but fun rhyming book about lots of sea creatures joining a silly octopus in laughing and dancing about. My daughter thought the whole story was quite funny, and loved the pictures. It also has some counting up to ten as more and more animals join the fun.

This is a fun book, with nice rhyming text. Olly octopus gets the giggles and as other sea animals come along they all laugh too. But when the shark arrives all the sea animals try to hide and that gives shark the giggles. My little boy really liked this book and his favourite part was the ending.

I read it to Lil aged 1 aged 1

Difficult to read at first as it tongue twists a little bit but when you have read it a few times you read it better.  Lily really enjoyed it though as she loves underwater creatures. It also has words like Tickle which excite her. Its also a clever counting book to and so great for children learning to count.
